Affiliate and commercial policy

This page states every way the site may earn money and the single thing that is not available at any price. It is deliberately specific, because a vague disclosure is worth nothing to the person reading it.

The rule in one sentence: placement, attention and data can be bought; a computed figure cannot, and anything paid for is labelled as paid at the point you meet it.

How this site may earn

All of the following are open, and none of them is currently a significant source of income because the site is young:

  • Display advertising. Marked as advertising.
  • Affiliate links. A commission if you open an account or make a purchase through a link here. The link is marked before you click it, not after.
  • Operator and venue partnerships. Sponsored placement, labelled as sponsored on the page it appears on.
  • Data licensing. The computed edge figures are published openly under a permissive licence and may also be licensed with support.

We have deliberately not ruled anything out. An earlier version of this page promised never to carry casino sign-up offers, and that promise was removed because it was a commitment about business model rather than about honesty, and the two are different things.

What is not for sale

  • The arithmetic. No house edge, probability or payout on this site has ever been adjusted for a commercial relationship, and none will be. The figures are produced by software from the rules of the game; there is no dial to turn.
  • Rankings. There are none, so there is nothing to sell. Where the site compares things, it compares them on a number.
  • Silence. If a product is expensive, the page says the figure, whoever is paying. Big Six costs between 11.11% and 24.07% and a sponsorship would not change that sentence.
  • Recommendations we do not hold. We do not visit venues, so we do not endorse them, and no payment produces an endorsement we would not otherwise give.

How you can check

Every figure links the page that derives it, and the methodology describes the derivation. The full set is published as open data, so a claim here can be recomputed rather than trusted. That is the only meaningful form of accountability a site like this can offer, and it is why the numbers are structured the way they are.

Regulatory position

This site provides information. It does not accept wagers, hold player funds, or operate any gambling product. It is operated by a private individual under the law of Israel. Nothing here is financial or legal advice, and gambling law is set where you are rather than where we are: the country pages carry the position for 57 jurisdictions with the month each was checked.
