Games
Rules, edge, and strategy primers for popular casino games.
What each game costs: the spread across one casino floor is enormous, and nearly all of it is computed on this site; the few figures quoted from published analyses (full-pay video poker, Ultimate Texas Hold'em, Pai Gow) say so on their own pages. Video poker on a full-pay machine played correctly returns 99.54%, so it costs 0.46%. Blackjack costs 0.51% under standard rules, the baccarat banker bet 1.06%, the craps pass line 1.41%, sic bo small or big 2.78%, European roulette 2.70% and American 5.26%. Then it climbs: Let It Ride 3.51%, Mississippi Stud 4.91%, big six 11.11%, keno 27.29%. Slots and Caribbean Stud are the games here with no figure: nobody outside the maker can derive a slot's, and Caribbean Stud's is a computation this site does not run.
