What "resolves" means here

A line bet rides many rolls before it wins or loses; a proposition bet resolves every roll. The session-cost column accounts for that: each bet's cost is edge × bet × (rolls × resolution rate) × hours, using the per-bet resolution rates listed in the page source. The ranking never changes — only the dollar gap widens for the fast-resolving bets, which is exactly why the middle of the layout is where bankrolls go to die.

Frequently Asked Questions

Why is the Field so much more expensive than Place 6?
Two reasons multiply: its edge is higher (2.78% or 5.56% against 1.52%), and it resolves every single roll while a place bet waits for its number. Cost is edge times action, and the Field generates four times the action.
Where are the free odds?
At exactly 0.00% they are the best wager in the casino, but they only exist behind a line bet. Small line bet, maximum odds is the whole strategy.
Are these numbers simulated?
No. Every edge is an exact fraction derived from the 36 outcomes of two dice - 7/495 for the Pass Line - and verified against references before this page could build. The browser only multiplies by your numbers.
