About the series
The Asia Pacific Poker Tour is PokerStars' circuit for the region, and its home is PokerStars Live Manila at Okada Manila, inside the largest gaming floor in the Philippines.
Three festivals are confirmed for 2026, running 28 July to 10 August, 3 to 14 September and 8 to 19 October, with stops in Manila and Korea.
The APPT is worth knowing about for the value rather than the prestige. Buy-ins sit well below the European tours, fields are softer than a comparable EPT stop, and Manila is inexpensive by the standards of any other major poker destination.
Entertainment City, where Okada sits, is a purpose-built resort district that rivals Macau and Las Vegas in scale, so the trip works as a casino holiday whether or not the tournament goes well.

Two things are worth checking that have nothing to do with the poker. Tournament rake is quoted separately in the buy-in, so a $1,000 + $100 event carries a 10% fee, and that fee is the largest single cost most tournament players face.
