About the series
WSOP Europe awards genuine bracelets, identical in standing to the Las Vegas ones, and it is the only series outside the United States that does.
2026 was the year it moved. For a decade the series was held at King's Resort in Rozvadov, a purpose-built poker property on the German border roughly 170 km from Prague. In 2026 it was staged in the Czech capital itself, at King's Casino Prague inside the Hilton, running 31 March to 12 April.
Two things came with the move. The series shifted from its traditional autumn slot to spring, and the €5,300 Main Event carried a €10,000,000 guarantee, the largest in European live poker.
The practical consequence for Prague is that the city now has two major festival windows rather than one, since EPT Prague continues to run in December at the same Hilton poker room. Whether WSOP Europe returns to Prague, and in which slot, had not been announced at the time of writing.

Two things are worth checking that have nothing to do with the poker. Tournament rake is quoted separately in the buy-in, so a $1,000 + $100 event carries a 10% fee, and that fee is the largest single cost most tournament players face.
